Shelley
Harland's musical career began in a tiny Brooklyn apartment
where her only companions were a four track recorder,
a beaten up acoustic guitar and cockroaches. Never trained
on an instrument and with a desire to create the songs
that persistently played in her head she taught herself
composition by ear.
Her
writing talents, vocals and programming skills were
soon recognized and lead to collaborations with John
Cale (velvet underground), Ferry Corsten, Guru (jazzmatazz),
Junkie XL, Delerium and many more.
Afer taking over vocal duties for Sarah McLachlan and
Leigh Nash for the Delerium US and Canadian tour, Shelley
recieved glowing reviews for her performance.
"....an angelic voice unlike
any i had heard before."

"Not often does a vocalist
come around that makes you turn your
head and take notice, but in English-born and US based
Shelley Harland a talent is about to emerge to us all."
